I have listed swatches below for the ELF Studio Line Eye shadows I own. They blend wonderfully and are packed full of pigments. I could name a MAC dupe for each one of them, so I really suggest picking up at least four or five to see if you like them.
The only ones I find the least bit chalky are Butter Cream and a tiny bit in Wild Wheat, but every line I have ever tried has a chalky shadow here and there.Wild Wheat and Butter Cream would be beautiful on darker skin tones or maybe when I have a tan. Read more
Eyes of the Day using the Winter berry and Warm Palettes from Coastal Scents:
1. After applying Coastal Scents Primer and Michael Todd Cream Eyeshadow Base in Nude…
2. I applied the light pink(ME15 to the tear duct and inner portion of the eye and S13 to the remainder of the eyelid blending it into the ME15 with a blending brush adding a bit more of the light pink to blend into the darker color.
3. Second pic: I started adding the Charcoal (ME18) toward the outer lid and blending into the purple color using a dense brush to blend along the lines and using a barely there satin brown to blend them more easily without losing the purple and charcoal.
